GOTHENBURG, Sweden – Volvo Group reported solid financial results for the second quarter of 2026, supported by growing truck deliveries, resilient service demand and improving profitability across most business areas.

The company posted net sales of SEK 126.3 billion, representing 7% organic growth compared with the same period last year. Vehicle sales increased by 6%, while service sales also grew 7% organically, reflecting continued high fleet utilization among customers.

Martin Lundstedt, President and CEO of Volvo Group, said the results demonstrate the company's ability to adapt to changing market conditions while maintaining strong operational performance.

Service Business Remains a Key Profit Driver

Volvo Group highlighted that its service operations continued to deliver stable growth as fleet utilization remained high across most markets.

The company emphasized that aftermarket services continue to play an increasingly important role in supporting profitability throughout market cycles.

North American Market Shows Positive Momentum

According to Volvo Group, demand in North America continued to improve during the quarter, providing additional support for truck deliveries and overall financial performance.

The company expects operational flexibility and its diversified product portfolio to remain important competitive advantages during the second half of 2026.

Kamyonum Analysis

Volvo Group's latest results suggest that demand in the global commercial vehicle market remains resilient despite ongoing economic uncertainty.

The strong performance of aftermarket services once again demonstrates that profitability in the heavy-duty transport sector is increasingly supported by digital services, maintenance and long-term customer relationships rather than vehicle sales alone.
