The project has previously begun with İstanbul Birollar Otomotiv and continued with Mengerler Otomotiv and Koluman Motorlu Araçlar in Ankara. Following Hatay Has Otomotiv, the first authorized service shop to receive the certification in the Mediterranean Region; İzmir Has Otomotiv has become the first authorized service shop to be granted the certification in the Aegean Region. Now, Koluman İstanbul's authorized service shop has received this certification in the Marmara Region.

Mercedes-Benz Türk Truck & Bus After Sales Services Director Can Balaban, After Sales Services Truck Marketing Group Manager Mehmet Doğan and After Sales Services Bus Marketing Group Manager Özgür Taşgın have attended the ceremony held on Friday, March 15 at Koluman Otomotiv's Samandıra Facilities where Koluman Motorlu Araçlar's İstanbul branch has received the "Manufacturer-Standard Damage Repair Centre" certificate that includes the bus and truck product groups.

6-month training process for the Manufacturer-Standard Damage Repair Center title

As a result of a 6-month project at Mercedes-Benz authorized service points, there are activities performed to accelerate and increase the quality of the bodywork and paint repair procedures and optimize equipment. Authorized service points that successfully complete the procedures receive the "Bus and Truck Manufacturer-Standard Damage Repair Centre" title.  As part of the training, equipment have been inspected and service points have been trained on-site while the bodywork technicians of the authorized service points have been trained in the Mercedes-Benz Bodywork Technician training program of Mercedes-Benz Türk Hoşdere Factory and Marketing Centre's training departments.

Vehicles Repaired at Certified Service Points Receive The "Manufacturer-Standard Repair Certificate"

Vehicles repaired by certified service points are also certified with the "Manufacturer-Standard Repair Certificate". This certificate ensures that the vehicles are repaired at factory standards by Mercedes-Benz Türk "Certified Bodywork and Paint Technicians" using original parts and that the vehicles have all the safety, performance and comfort features, just as they've left the factory for the first time. In addition, the vehicles repaired by these authorized service points are covered by Mercedes-Benz Türk's 1 year of spare part and labour warranty.
