Alpay, who has been serving the sector for about 13 years, started his words as follows; “I am an educator who has worked in the road safety department in many projects in Turkey. I worked as the road safety chief in major projects such as TANAP and Sakarya Gas Field in Turkey. I worked in training, inspection, vehicle control and similar positions for the main and subcontractor companies working here. I am now at Alp Özler. We established an academy here with the help and support of our Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Dursun Gece.”

Drawing attention to the high need for drivers both globally and on a country basis, Alpay continued his words as follows; It is a project designed to reflect the need for trained drivers from both our company and other companies in the sector. We attach great importance to this project. We will have two different groups here. One of them is our friends who want to do the job but cannot do it or cannot complete their documents due to high prices of documents and similar situations. And we saw the gap here. We decided to support these friends financially. For example; You have a class B driver's license, you are very willing and volunteer to do this job, you are familiar with the vehicle equipment and features, but you cannot obtain this document. Here, as Alp Özler Academy, we will obtain all documents from A to Z, C certificate, CE certificate, psychotechnical, SRC, digital tachograph and similar documents within our company. We will provide both theoretical and practical training to these friends for approximately 2.5-3 months, during the exam periods that vary according to the process of the Ministry of National Education. Even if the person who comes here does not know anything about the truck, they will complete programs starting from 'how to ride a truck?' to tachograph training, technical equipment of the vehicles they will use, defensive driving training, anti-fatigue training, night driving, and economical driving training. We will convey information to our students such as how to open and close a tent, how to disassemble and assemble a trailer, and how to intervene if something happens to them on the road. With the training we provide to our students during this process, we will ensure that they graduate as qualified truck captains in every sense. We will provide a job guarantee by handing over the keys after graduation. We will ensure that they are equipped in every sense by providing training not only on truck captainship but also on personal development.”

Stating that they will fill a big gap in the sector, Alpay said that; “Currently, an average of 70 thousand liras are spent abroad just for documents. In addition, there is no other place where the training we will provide here can be received. We are starting to provide these training sessions by filling the gap here and being a pioneer. We especially welcome applications from female driver candidates. They are very valuable to us. Don't worry, they will be amazing truck captains when they leave with all the training they have received since the day they came here. We have a quota of 20 captain candidates for this group. We hope that after the training of these friends is completed, we will turn this place into an educational institution that produces continuously, like a truck captain factory, and provides support to the market.”
“We Will Provide 30 Days Accelerated Training to Certificate Holding Candidates”
“We Will Employ Our Students in Our Company”
Stating that another group consists of drivers who have C and CE certificates but cannot find a job because they are inexperienced, Alpay detailed this as follows; “This is actually a loss of workforce. We will provide approximately 30 days of accelerated theoretical and practical training to our friends who have these documents. As in the other group, we will provide training on getting on and off the truck, technical equipment of the vehicle, combating fatigue, night driving, defensive driving training, economical driving training and similar training. We will train these drivers within 30 days and employ these drivers in our company again. We decided to fill the gap here and turn this workforce loss into benefit.”
“We Will Not Charge Any Fee”

Concluding his words, Alpay stated that the trainings are completely free and said that; “We will not charge any application fee for these trainings. We will also provide insurance for our students throughout the training, and we will cover the meals from our company. We plan to start our training as of March 4th.”
